Dear Madam/Sir,

we have pleasure to invite you to the most significant IDSF dance competition in Croatia -
"10th Croatia Open Varaždin 2010.".

The former capital of Croatia and old baroque city of Varaždin is situated in the north part of Croatia, 15 km from Slovenian border, 30 km from Hungarian border and 60 km from Austrian border.

Please, take notice of the high score of IDSF ranking points.
The competiton has an addition of minimum +90% to the basic points in total
(minimum coefficient of competition: 1,9).

Rules

IDSF Open competitions

IDSF Competition Rules will be applied.

Categories according to age:

Juveniles I older patner born in 2001 or later
Juveniles II older patner born in 1999 or 2000
Junior I older partner born in 1997 or 1998
Junior II older partner born in 1995 or 1996
Youth older partner born in 1992 or 1993 or 1994
Adults older partner born in 1991 or before

Croatian DanceSport Federation Chart-rated competition

Age categories:

Juvenile I, Juvenile II, Junior I, Junior II, Youth, Adults, Senior
(ages according to IDSF rules)

Dance categories:

Standard:
Category        Dances (basic only)

    D2                   Waltz, Quickstep
    D3                   Waltz, Tango, Quickstep
    C                     Waltz, Tango, Viener Waltz, Slowfox, Quickstep

Latin:

Couples in Juvenile I age category could dance only in D1, D2 or D3 dance categories
(it is not allowed for Juvenile I to dance in C dance categories).

One couple could dance only one dance category in standard dances and
only one dance category in latin dances.

All dances are basic.

Entry fee per couple per day for:

Juveniles or Junior:            20 eur
Youth:                              25 eur
Adults:                             30 eur
two or more categories:     30 eur

Closing date for registration: 26th November 2010.

Competitors in Youth category also can take part in IDSF International Open category.

Prize money for IDSF International Open Standard and IDSF International Open Latin categories.

Transport

The nearest airport to Varaždin is airport in Zagreb (capital of Croatia).

Distance between Varaždin and Zagreb airport is 95 km by highway and it takes approximately 55 minutes to cross this distance by bus/car.

If you come to IDSF Croatia Open Varaždin dance competition by plane, we could offer you organized transport from Zagreb airport to Varaždin and back (from Varaždin to Zagreb airport).

The price of this organized transport per person per one direction is 10 eur.

If you would like to use our means of transport, please, send us number and names of persons who will use our transport, date and time of your arrival to Zagreb airport and date and time of your departure from Zagreb airport.
And we will wait for you and transport you to your destination (hotel/airport).

Please, check at your Ministry of Foreign Affairs if you need visa or invitation letter for Croatia.

If there is your need for visa or invitation letter, please, send following information to our e-mail
( harmony@vz.t-com.hr ):
Name, surname, date and place of birth, citizenship, number of passport, place and date of issue of passport, date of expiry of passport, address of residence and profession.

Also, send us the postal address where you want us to send you the invitation letter.
And we will send you the original of invitation letter for IDSF Croatia Open Varaždin 2010. dance competition by post.

Russian citizens to enter to Croatia need an original of Invitation letter (visa is not required, sufficient is original of Invitation letter).

Russia, Ukraine and other eastern countries

You could immediately get an original of Invitation letter for IDSF Croatia Open Varaždin 2010. dance competition, directly in Moscow by Mr. Vladimir Kolobov, IDSF licenced adjudicator, dance trainer and also adjudicator on 10th IDSF Croatia Open Varaždin 2010. dance competition.

On one form of Invitation letter is possible to enter maximum two persons.
